My Voice In Rhyme

Since I was born, no, since I was formed
Nah as a matter of fact, since I was torn
Torn between two genders, before I swam
Before I learned its not no, its I can
Since I developed from an egg to a fetus
I knew that deep down that I would lead us
Lead us out this situation of our misery
This is making me lose my sympathy
For those who lost faith in ourselves
When was it our wealth before our health
Take a second, just read back a little
Down to the cells that lack a sickle
There’s a war going on, not with guns
But between everything that we love
Between our homes and our morals
From our streets all the way to the corals
Back up to the glaciers fading dry
Time to act up and face the "why"
No guarantees in life but death
So why not live like there’s nothing left
Live like there isn't a choice
Live like they want to take your voice
Live like its down the very last moment
Live like you mean the words that are spoken
Don't take for granted of what you’re given
Truthfully, you’re only blessed to be living
This isn't conscious, but more for open minds
For those who seem to close their eyes
Stop being ignorant, your time has come
Make the difference before your time is done
